His practice combines design, writing, and research, with a strong focus on societal themes such as activism, norm-critical perspectives, multilingualism, and decolonial thought. Nasreen Ahmed is a third-culture social scientist and artist with Kashmiri ancestry based between Norway and the Netherlands. Her work seeks to redefine decolonisation / reculturing of oneself, and of academia and the arts. A Criminologist by education, activist by experience and an artist at heart, her practice exists somewhere in the in-between.
